CarersConnected Elevate Trip

The CarersConnect group gained an opportunity to meet one another in Elevate Entertainment Centre Athlone on the 3rd of May 2025, using public transport to attend. The young carers have been participating on zoom sessions every Tuesday evening as of late February, The outcome of this event was truly amazing as this trip also provided the young people with an opportunity to discuss their caring duties, this was also a relaxing environment for the group to

be in as they had no stress and no worries and enjoyed all the activities that Elevate had to offer. This trip had also provided the young people with a chance to step away from their caring duties they had in their life while having a listening ear to speak too. All of the young people had an amazing time!

One important aspect of this CarersConnected trip was meeting the group and getting a break from the caring duties they carry out, the carersconnected group got a chance to make life-long memories and meet the group in person !
